NEXT!

I understand that standing in line in some cultures does not exist. . . but it does in this one! I lived in Russia while I was in college. The first thing I learned there was that there is no such thing as standing in line. THE CONCEPT DOES NOT EXIST. When you are waiting for the metro, it is every person for themselves. I cannot tell you how many times I got trampled by a babushka (grandma). I fought for my life when I needed to get on the bus, or buy some ice cream. It was something I struggled with when I came home. It was embarrassing how aggressive I had become. I got over it, and realized that people have manners here in America. I don't need to act like I am in the WWF when I am buying my fake sugar cookies.
Well, I was wrong. At Christmas time every sane action goes out the window. Some woman barrelled through the stinking line, and almost nailed me in the back with her cart at WALMART. She had a crazed look in her eye, and her hair was similar to Frankenstein's bride. She did not notice that I was waiting to check out in front of her. She just got right in front of me and started unloading her cart! I pointed this out, and she looked at me and said "oh, I didn't see you (yeah right)! you don't have that many things- do you mind?" I said, "actually I do, I have been waiting a long time, but go right ahead."
That B$*@# is lucky I was feeling the spirit of Christmas, and she didn't hit me with her cart, or she would have been feeling my spirit of Christmas in her face. Anyone else glad this part of the holiday season is over?
Just to end on a better note, on my last post I did not get the names of the designers of the items I posted. I did not realize how much you all loved that clutch! So, here are a few more of some things I have found, and JADORE!!! I have included the names of the designers this time! Enjoy!

First topic up!!

Anyone else feel guilty watching public television, then not donating to it? They always hook me when I am watching "Anne of Green Gables," and it is 1:00 am. They are sly, those public broadcasters. Dangling their box sets for a minimum membership fee.

Also, I have found some of my favorite things this year: just want to share!! Sassy purse, Lovely Earrings, and a GORGEOUS cashmere throw.
